Health & Safety

Happy campers.

At Summer Trails we treat our campers as we would our own children. Their physical and emotional safety is top priority.

We hire nurses to manage campers physical needs as well as hire staff who are childcare experts to ensure that the emotional needs of our campers are being met. By providing in depth pre season training and excellent staff to camper ratios our counselors help campers develop friendships, build resiliency and allow all campers to find individual success. Additionally, our camp directors and owners are proud to represent the camp industry at both the county and state level in setting the standards for safety for all children’s summer camps.

Summer Trails provides daily lunch and snack.

Lunch is catered from local vendors daily. Afternoon snack is an ice cream or ice pop as well as a fresh fruit option daily. Our preschool and entering Kindergarten campers receive a morning snack on the go; usually goldfish or pretzels. Sensitivity to each campers food allergies is top priority and our camp medical staff review all food labels. We pride ourselves on partnering with parents to meet campers individualized special needs.
