Activities include group sports, creative arts activities, swimming, and unique games that encourage children to express themselves as individuals. Our program is altered daily to emphasize maximum participation and bundles of fun while catering to each group’s dynamics as well as the daily weather. Each and every day at camp is unique and special.

    Leadership in Training Program

Summer Trails offers a Leadership in Training Program (LIT) to campers in 9th grade who have previously been Summer Trails campers. This program has 3 focal points:
    1) leadership training
    2) working hands on assisting with a camper group and
    3) the opportunity to play.
This program is specifically designed to provide an enriching leadership opportunity while balancing good old camp fun with a chance to demonstrate responsibility. These campers complete the program feeling prepared to be Summer Trails Interns the following summer.

    Intern Program

The program is part camper and part big brother to a younger group. A little about the Intern Program... Started in the summer of 2019. This program is designed as an opportunity for campers entering 10th grade (or 15 years old) to put into practice and grow the leadership skills they were exposed to as an LIT the previous summer. The Intern Program will act as a bridge between being an LIT and the demands of being a Camp Counselor or Baseball Coach.

As interns they will earn 20 hours per week community service credits, contribute to an internship project, have the opportunity to earn Red Cross certifications, Program is a balance of educational and recreational opportunities, as well as, community service partnerships.

Both a Camper Registration (from your parents to secure the dates) and Intern Application from you to begin the interview process) are next steps.
